Simple Wild Salmon with Mango Vinaigrette


  • Six 5-ounce wild salmon fillets
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, divided

Reap all the health benefits from wild salmon, coupled with a sunny mango vinaigrette in this easy summer recipe.


Heat the oven to 450 degrees.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. In 2 large sauté pans heat 2 tablespoons of oil each, until smoking. Place 3 salmon fillets in each pan, skin-side down.

Keep the pans on top of the stove for about 30 more seconds, then place the pans in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes, until the salmon is opaque.

Remove the salmon from the pans and top each fillet with 1 tablespoon of Mango Vinaigrette
