    A Fairfield county, family-owned gourmet food shop seeks versatile and hard working individual for a retail position. Individual must have retail experience and be familiar with retail food. Individual will be responsible for executing all tasks related to a retail gourmet food shop including but not limited to sales, customer service, order taking and re-stocking. Individual must have schedule flexibility including working among our six locations, working weekdays and weekends.

    Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a well established team.     Stamford Commissary

    Part-Time and Full-Time​

    Seeking a motivated morning bakery/pastry production individual – this early-morning, 3:00 AM, position will cook a variety of pre-weighed breakfast pastries. Baking experience necessary . Position also includes high-volume pastry production, including but not limited to, assembling pies, mixing cake batters, cookie dough, and frostings.

    Some baking experience required!

    Must have transportation!

    Stamford Commissary

    Part-Time and Full-Time​

    Our commissary supports four gourmet food shops, one cafeteria and catering events in Fairfield and Westchester counties from our commissary in Stamford, CT. The Sous Chef will work at our commissary or one of our store locations reporting directly to the Executive Chef.

    Responsibilities include performing all kitchen tasks, ordering food, and communicating with kitchen staff in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities also include ensuring food is properly prepared, maintaining quality controls, troubleshooting kitchen challenges, maintaining an organized, professional and efficient kitchen and reporting vital information to the Executive Chef, additionally, the Sous Chef may work at catering events.

    General Responsibilities

    • Navigating a fast paced environment
    • Food preparation cooking and ordering
    • Managing day-to-day operations of the kitchen
    • Communicating and instructing kitchen staff
    • Ensuring proper food preparation and food sanitation handling
    • Troubleshooting kitchen challenges
    • Maintaining an organized, professional and efficient kitchen
    • Reporting vital information to the Executive Chef
    • Ensuring adherence to processes and recipes
    • Supporting all our locations
    • Working catering events where necessary
    • Working major holidays when necessary
    • Maintaining quality, cleanliness standards and operations of the plant

    Stamford Commissary 

    Part-Time and Full-Time

    Delivery Drivers and helpers will make deliveries throughout Fairfield County.

    Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to keep up in a busy enviroment especially during our holiday seasons.

    Hours:from 4:30 am – 1:00 pm

    • Weekends are a must!
    • Holidays are a must!

    We have locations in Stamford, Greenwich, Riverside, Darien and Westport. Deliveries come in and out of all locations.
